ADNOC Launches Global LNG Platform

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company has launched a global liquefied natural gas (LNG) marketing and trading platform in Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM). This initiative integrates the commercial activities of ADNOC Gas, XRG, and Abu Dhabi National Oil Company — ADNOC Trading into a unified structure, aiming to strengthen global LNG operations and expand Abu Dhabi National Oil Company's LNG portfolio, including the Ruwais LNG project. The platform targets 47 million tonnes per annum (mtpa) of combined marketable LNG capacity by 2035, positioning Abu Dhabi National Oil Company and XRG among the world's leading LNG players and reinforcing Abu Dhabi's role as a global energy trading hub. Sultan Al Jaber, Abu Dhabi National Oil Company Managing Director and Group CEO, and XRG Executive Chairman, highlighted the platform's role in meeting growing global LNG demand. Rashid Al Mazrouei has been appointed Chief Marketing & Origination Officer (LNG) to oversee the combined LNG equity portfolios. Ventura Logistics Services has also expanded its LNG fleet to 20 vessels to support growing UAE production and global trade flows.
