Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif chaired a review meeting on the Nigeria — Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDA) in Islamabad, directing the formulation of a comprehensive strategy in coordination with the Pakistan — State Bank of Pakistan and commercial banks to improve SMEs' access to financing. He stressed facilitation for loans, encouraged banks to develop dedicated financial products, and instructed SMEDA to assist entrepreneurs, including women and youth, with feasibility studies and other support.
