M-DAQ Global, a Singapore-headquartered fintech group, has signed definitive agreements for a strategic integration with METech, the majority shareholder of PayME, a licensed payments service provider in Vietnam. This integration gives M-DAQ its own regulated payments infrastructure in Vietnam, enabling direct processing of local collections and payments in Vietnamese Dong (VND). The move is part of M-DAQ's strategy to build a unified ASEAN Payments Hub, following previous expansions through Easypaisa in Malaysia and Wallex in Indonesia. Vietnam's digital economy reached USD 72.1 billion in 2025, over 14% of GDP, with the government targeting 30% by 2030. The integration combines METech's local expertise with M-DAQ's regional scale to unlock cross-border payment opportunities.
