The India — India, through the India — Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, approved the nationwide rollout of the PM-SETU scheme, transitioning from its pilot phase to cover all 200 identified ITI clusters. The National Steering Committee, chaired by Debashree Mukherjee, also approved five Strategic Investment Plans worth Rs 1,237.58 crore for upgrading ITIs in India — Odisha, India — Gujarat, and India — Telangana. Industry partners include Jindal Naveen Avasar Limited, ArcelorMittal — ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India, Apollo Hospitals, Sri Siddharth Infratech & Services (India) Private Limited, and Neuland Foundation. The scheme aims to modernize ITI infrastructure, introduce industry-aligned training, and improve employability. Minister Jayant Chaudhary urged greater industry participation.
