On July 7, 2026, N5X, a Brazilian energy trading platform, selected Vermiculus to deliver its cloud-native VeriClear clearing system for establishing Brazil's first regulated energy derivatives central counterparty (CCP). The partnership aims to transition the Brazilian energy market from an uncleared OTC environment to a regulated futures market, enabling new product offerings and efficient hedging. Vermiculus will provide a scalable, high-performance clearing and risk management platform. The project strengthens Vermiculus' presence in South America, marking its fourth clearing system in the region since 2022.
