Asana Partners Strategic Partners I and Norway — Norges Bank (NBIM) have closed a partnership to form Asana Partners Strategic Partners I (APSP I), a new venture that will invest in and operate high-quality core/core+ neighborhood retail assets across the United States. APSP I launched with a $500 million equity commitment from NBIM. The venture will focus on grocery-anchored centers, unanchored centers, street retail, and mixed-use assets in markets with attractive demographics and durable tenant demand. The initial investment is a 50% interest in a portfolio of premium grocery-anchored centers. King & Spalding and Clifford Chance acted as legal advisors.
