Ford Motor Company — Ford Business Solutions (FBS) India, the global capability centre of Ford Motor Company, inaugurated a new office in India — Coimbatore, India — Tamil Nadu, on July 8, 2026. The 82,000 sq. ft. facility at SVB Tech Park has a capacity of 800 seats and will primarily house teams serving accounting, Ford Motor Company — Ford Credit, and business operations. This is FBS India's third location after Chennai and Bengaluru. The centre is designed as a business continuity hub to ensure critical operations continue if the Chennai GCC is disrupted. FBS India employs over 12,000 people across its centres. The inauguration was attended by India — Tamil Nadu Minister for Industries Kirtan, District Collector Pavankumar G. Giriyappanavar, and FBS India Site Head Gangapriya Chakraverti. The minister highlighted the state's support for global capability centres.
