Lightpath announced new fiber builds to support two hyperscale data center campuses under construction in United States — Saline, Michigan and United States — Port Washington, Wisconsin. Each campus is planned to exceed one gigawatt of capacity. Lightpath will provide triverse fiber infrastructure and multi-terabit capacity. The Saline build is expected by end of 2026, Port Washington by Q2 2027, in partnership with an unnamed anchor hyperscale customer. This follows Lightpath's recent expansions in Phoenix, eastern United States — Pennsylvania, Columbus, and a long-haul corridor linking Columbus and United States — Chicago. Lightpath is jointly owned by Optimum Communications and Antin Infrastructure Partners.
