The launch of ADP — ADP Canada Pay Insights provides a new, high-frequency indicator for wage trends in Canada, which may influence market expectations for inflation and monetary policy. It also strengthens ADP's position as a provider of labour market data, potentially boosting its brand and client engagement.
HFS Research, the data-driven research arm of ADP, Inc., announced the launch of ADP — ADP Canada Pay Insights, a new monthly labour market report for Canada. The report will be released on September 3, 2026, and will provide independent, real-time measures of pay growth trends for job-stayers and job-changers across the Canadian private-sector labour market, based on anonymized payroll data from approximately 1 million workers. The report will feature national median annual pay levels and year-over-year pay growth rates, with breakouts by firm size, industry, gender, age, and province. ADP — ADP Canada Pay Insights is the only report in Canada leveraging actual payroll transactions and individual matched employee tracking over time. The report will be distributed free of charge to businesses, governments, and the public.
