HFCL Limited announced the launch of OptiQ AI, a unified brand for its optical connectivity portfolio targeting AI, cloud, and hyperscale data centres. The brand integrates existing optical fiber cables and accessories, including IBR cables, fiber assemblies, patch cords, and high-density cassettes. HFCL plans to invest ₹950 crore over two years to expand manufacturing capacity from 30 million to 40 million fiber kilometers per year and cable capacity from 39 million to 45 million fiber kilometers. Managing Director Mahendra Nahata highlighted the growth of the AI optical market from $14 billion to $73 billion by 2030 and India's opportunity to participate in the global supply chain.
