The sale strengthens TGS's balance sheet and sharpens its focus on offshore services, potentially improving its financial flexibility. Enverus gains a valuable subsurface dataset, enhancing its energy data platform.

Oil and Gas Data Services

TGS, a leading energy data and intelligence provider, has closed the sale of its North American well data products business to Enverus, Inc. for a purchase price exceeding USD 100 million, including USD 100 million at closing and up to USD 15 million in earn-out. The business, operated by TGS subsidiary Analog-to-digital converter, generated USD 27 million in revenue in 2025. The divestment aligns with TGS's strategic focus on offshore geophysical services following acquisitions of PGS, Magseis, and American Geophysical Union. TGS will retain a license to use the Analog-to-digital converter well log library internally. Proceeds will be used to reduce net debt and enhance shareholder returns.
