United Arab Emirates — Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) and Dubai Taxi Company (DTC) inaugurated the first phase of their partnership to establish a major ultrafast EV charging hub exclusive for DTC's electric taxi fleet. The hub, located at DTC's headquarters in Muhaisnah 4, features 24 next-generation ultrafast charge points of 360 KW each, capable of charging 24 vehicles simultaneously in approximately 35 minutes. This initiative is part of a long-term strategic agreement signed at WETEX 2025 between DEWA and DTC to deploy more than 200 ultrafast EV charge points for DTC's fleet, significantly advancing United Arab Emirates — Dubai's green mobility infrastructure. The project supports United Arab Emirates — Dubai's Green Mobility Strategy 2030 and Net Zero Carbon Emissions Strategy 2050.
