Amnesty probes Israeli strikes in Lebanon

Amnesty International released a report on July 9, 2026, calling for an investigation into three Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon that occurred between March 6 and 13, 2026. The strikes killed 24 civilians, including 12 children, and wiped out entire families. Amnesty stated the attacks may amount to war crimes and violate international humanitarian law.
