The India — National Medical Commission (NCW) has constituted an expert committee chaired by retired Delhi High Court judge Asha Menon to review the regulatory framework governing IVF clinics, ART centres, and gamete banks in India. The committee will examine the implementation of the Assisted Reproductive Technology (Regulation) Act, 2021, the Surrogacy (Regulation) Act, 2021, and relevant 2026 amendment rules.
