A report by India Energy Storage Alliance and Customized Energy Solutions, released at India Energy Storage Week 2026 in New Delhi, forecasts India's EV components market will expand eightfold from ₹41,000 crore in 2025 to ₹3.55 lakh crore by 2032, at a CAGR of 38%. Battery packs will dominate over half the market, but remain import-dependent. The event drew over 200 exhibitors and 10,000 leaders from 15 countries, including Germany, Sweden, Australia, Norway, the United States, Japan, Singapore, France, and South Korea. Australia — Government of Western Australia offered partnership. Domestic firms like Bharat Forge, Robert Bosch GmbH — Bosch India, Uno Minda, and Tata AutoComp Systems are scaling investments.
