On July 11, 2026, the Union Bangladesh — Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) launched a Monthly Webinar Series on Best Practices under the India — National Health Mission (NHM) on World Population Day. The initiative aims to create a year-round knowledge-sharing platform for states and union territories to present healthcare innovations, exchange implementation experiences, and promote scalable, evidence-based practices. The inaugural session was chaired by Archana Patnaik, Additional Secretary and Mission Director (NHM), who emphasized innovation as central to resilient public health systems. The India — National Health Systems Resource Centre (NHSRC) will provide technical support for documenting innovations. The first webinar focused on anemia, child and adolescent health, with presentations from India — Jharkhand (Anemia Mukt Bharat T4 App and integrated home-based care), India — Chhattisgarh (Chirayu Day under RBSK), and India — Madhya Pradesh (adolescent obesity initiative). Over 500 officials participated.
