The expansion strengthens Quadient's position in the UK parcel locker market, potentially increasing revenue from locker usage fees and partnerships. It may also pressure competitors to expand their networks, while benefiting host partners through increased footfall and sales.
Quadient, a global automation platform listed on Euronext Paris, announced that its Parcel Pending by Quadient open locker network has exceeded 3,000 locations across the United Kingdom. The carrier-agnostic network supports major logistics providers including Royal Mail, Evri, DPD, and UPS, offering 24/7 parcel collection, returns, and additional services such as prescription collection and luggage storage through partnerships with KeyNest, Stasher, Qeepl, and Radical Ventures. The lockers are hosted at venues including Shell plc service stations, Morrisons, Northern Trains, Buzz Bingo, Sports and Leisure Management, The Range, and Stonegate Group pubs. Quadient commissioned research indicating strong consumer demand for multi-carrier locations. The company aims to deploy 40,000 lockers globally by 2030, with over 28,200 already installed worldwide.
