The Antariksh Venture Capital Fund (AVCF), India's dedicated space-tech fund anchored by India — Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre and managed by DPI Venture Capital, has made its first investment of Rs60 crore into Dhruva Space, a Hyderabad-based full-stack space engineering solutions provider. The investment was announced at the 10th India — Indian National Space Promotion and Authorisation Centre Industry Connect event in Ahmedabad. With this, Dhruva Space's ongoing pre-Series B round totals Rs275 crore (Rs150 crore equity and Rs125 crore debt). The company holds an order book exceeding Rs500 crore and plans to use the capital to expand satellite manufacturing, develop space infrastructure, advance critical technologies, and serve domestic and international markets. AVCF was established with a corpus of Rs1,600 crore to provide institutional capital to space-tech startups at various stages.
