Four research teams from Kwara State University (KWASU) have secured competitive research grants from two funding organizations. At the international level, a team led by Bolatito Olanipekun received a $43,913 grant from The World Academy of Sciences-UNESCO. At the national level, three teams led by Abdulwaheed Musa, Kehinde Alabi, and Khafayat Olatinwo received grants totaling ₦83,025,900 from the South Africa — National Research Fund (NRF). The Vice-Chancellor, Shaykh-Luqman Jimoh, congratulated the recipients and encouraged them to mentor early-career researchers.
