The Allstate Corporation announced the appointment of Christian (Chris) Lown as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, effective August 3, 2026. Lown joins from CoStar Group, where he served as CFO, and has previously held CFO roles at United States — Freddie Mac and Navient, as well as senior finance positions at Morgan Stanley and UBS. He succeeds Jess Merten, who became President of Property-Liability in 2025. John Dugenske, who served as interim CFO, will continue in that role until Lown's start date. Lown will report to Tom Wilson, Chair, President and CEO of Allstate.
