Hero MotoCorp Ltd has approved an additional investment of up to Rs 1,000 crore (₹10 billion) in electric two-wheeler maker Ather Energy through a preferential allotment of equity shares or convertible securities. The investment, approved by Hero's Committee of Directors on July 14, 2026, is subject to approvals from Ather's board and shareholders. The company has cash reserves exceeding Rs 14,000 crore and remains debt-free.
