Dah Sing Bank released its latest SME Survey in July 2026, based on interviews with over 340 China — Hong Kong SMEs conducted in May 2026. The survey reveals that 23% of SMEs have already adopted AI or generative AI, with another 32% planning to do so within one to two years. Nearly 70% of respondents see relevance in the Northern Metropolis and Hetao-China — Hong Kong Science Park developments. Key barriers to AI adoption include lack of knowledge/skills (57%), unclear ROI (38%), and insufficient resources (24%). The bank offers financing, digital banking, and educational platforms like SME Info Hub and 328 Business School to support SME transformation.
