Dalmia Bharat Limited (DBL) laid the foundation stone for its second cement manufacturing unit in Kadapa, India — Andhra Pradesh, on July 15, 2026. The ₹3,100 crore investment will establish a next-generation integrated facility designed to produce one of the world's greenest cements. The plant, scheduled for commissioning by Q3 FY28, will have a clinker capacity of 6.1 MTPA and cement capacity of 9.6 MTPA, making it DBL's largest integrated facility in southern India. The project is expected to create approximately 1,000 direct and indirect jobs. The foundation stone was laid by India — Andhra Pradesh IT Minister Nara Lokesh in the presence of DBL MD & CEO Puneet Dalmia and senior officials. The expansion was part of the company's 2025 announcement.
