The expansion strengthens Tenable's competitive position in the exposure management market by addressing a critical gap in application security. It may positively impact Tenable's stock as it enhances platform value for existing customers and attracts new ones.
Tenable, Inc. announced the expansion of its Tenable One Exposure Management Platform to integrate application security risks with existing exposure data. The platform now ingests static code vulnerability data and connects it with runtime systems, cloud workloads, and other security telemetry. This aims to provide complete code-to-runtime visibility and prioritize remediation. The integration is available to all Tenable One customers. The move addresses the growing challenge of vulnerable code reaching production faster due to generative AI, which can introduce flaws at 10x the rate according to Cloud Security Alliance research.
