Future Fund Oman (FFO), a portfolio of Oman — Oman Investment Authority (OIA), announced a package of 105 strategic projects and investments worth USD 1.744 billion. The portfolio combines USD 585 million in FFO commitments with around USD 458 million in local investment, spanning renewable energy, advanced manufacturing, tourism, healthcare, medical technologies, innovation, and food industries. Key projects include Orion Solar, a six-gigawatt solar cell and module facility in SOHAR Freezone; Gallant Industrial Project, producing 66,000 tonnes per year of lithium iron phosphate cathode material; As Sodah Island Resort; APM Terminals innovation hub; and investments in Alma, XCyber, Vivo, and Certares. A new Healthcare Investment Fund capitalized at USD 130 million was also launched. The fund aims to accelerate economic diversification under Oman Vision 2040.
