Goldgroup Mining Inc. Inc. and Gold Resource Corporation (GRC) announced that, subject to approvals, Goldgroup's common shares will trade under the ticker symbol 'GORO' on the NYSE American after the merger closes on July 17, 2026. GRC's shares will be delisted from the NYSE American. The merger agreement was dated January 25, 2026 and amended on May 15, 2026. Goldgroup will become the surviving entity, holding assets including the San Francisco project and Cerro Prieto mine in Mexico, while GRC operates the Don David Gold Mine in Oaxaca, Mexico and the Back Forty Project in Michigan, USA.
