Vance accuses Israel of influence campaign

US Vice President JD Vance accused certain elements within the Israeli government of conducting a foreign influence campaign to manipulate American public opinion and prolong the conflict with Iran indefinitely. In an interview on The Joe Rogan Experience, Vance alleged that Israel allocated hundreds of millions of dollars, including a $45 million lobbying contract to Brad Parscale, to bolster US support for the war and undermine diplomatic efforts. Parscale denied the allegations. Vance's remarks highlight growing tensions between the US and Israel over the Iran peace process, which Vance helped negotiate. Israel has distanced itself from the US-Iran ceasefire and launched strikes at Hezbollah-linked sites in Lebanon. A US-brokered framework agreement was signed between Lebanon and Israel.
