The acquisition is expected to enhance CEWE's photofinishing business and international retail presence, with a positive earnings contribution anticipated by 2027. The deal may moderately boost CEWE's stock price in the medium term as synergies materialize, while Kodak Alaris' parent Kingswood Capital Management exits the business.

CEWE Stiftung & Co. KGaA signed an agreement to acquire Kodak Alaris' KODAK MOMENTS Retail Photo Solutions business unit for an enterprise value of approximately €88 million. The acquisition includes about 37,000 connected photo kiosks in 16,000 retail stores across 54 countries, a production facility in Windsor, Colorado, and around 500 employees. The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2027, subject to regulatory approvals. CEWE anticipates a positive EBIT contribution from the acquisition as early as fiscal year 2027, with a mid-single-digit EBIT margin. The acquisition expands CEWE's international footprint into the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Australia, and strengthens its brand portfolio with KODAK MOMENTS.
