The appointment signals Soluna's commitment to scaling its AI infrastructure platform, potentially boosting investor confidence. However, the impact is limited as it is a single executive hire with no immediate financial changes.
Soluna Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: SLNH), a developer of green data centers for AI and Bitcoin mining, announced the appointment of Ryan Carver as Chief Development Officer (CDO), effective immediately. Carver, formerly Senior Director of AI Construction & Site Development at Microsoft, will oversee the full lifecycle of Soluna's AI/HPC data center platform, including site origination, power procurement, design, construction, and operations. He will report to CEO John Belizaire. Carver brings experience from Microsoft's Fairwater campus and earlier roles at Turner Construction and Jacobs Solutions.
