AtkinsRéalis Group Inc. and Siemens — Siemens Mobility have signed a co-development contract for the systems component of TramCité, a major public transit infrastructure project in Canada — Quebec City. Under the general partnership Connexion Capitale, the companies will integrate rail systems, signaling, communications, electrification, and oversee testing and commissioning. The Progressive Design Build model allows for collaborative refinement of technical solutions, schedule, and pricing before full execution. AtkinsRéalis' stock rose 2.11% on the Toronto Stock Exchange following the announcement.
