General Mills initiated a voluntary recall of nearly 736,000 Pillsbury frozen bread rolls on June 19, 2026, due to potential glass contamination. The recall covers two products: Hard Roll Dough (3,080 cases, 180 rolls each) and Kaiser Roll Dough (1,260 cases, 144 rolls each), distributed to food service operators and Walmart in-store bakeries in 19 US states. The FDA classified the recall as Class II on July 13, indicating temporary or medically reversible health consequences. No illnesses or injuries have been reported. General Mills stated the recall is limited in scope and all impacted product has been removed. The recall follows similar incidents by Ajinomoto, Aldi, and Utz Brands.
