India IPO Rush August 2026
Analysis based on 58 articles · First reported Jul 19, 2026 · Last updated Aug 16, 2026
The surge in IPO activity signals strong investor appetite and favorable market conditions, likely boosting sentiment for Indian equities and primary market participants. However, mixed subscription rates (e.g., LEAP India's weak demand) suggest selectivity, which could temper overall market enthusiasm.
India's primary market is set for a busy period with over a dozen companies planning IPOs in August 2026, collectively targeting over Rs 25,000 crore. Notable offerings include Metric prefix (fresh issue up to Rs 8,010 crore plus OFS), Edge Home Finance (Rs 3,000 crore), Elevate Campuses (Rs 2,550 crore fresh), Shiprocket (Rs 2,342.35 crore), Innovatiview India (Rs 2,000 crore OFS), and Milky Mist Dairy Food (Rs 1,553 crore). Other companies include Dhoot Transmission — Dhoot Transmission UK, Asset Reconstruction Company (India) Limited, Ardee Group, Gaja Alternative Asset Management, Rays of Belief, Hy-Tech Engineers, Shankesh Jewellers, and Learnfluence Education. The pipeline follows strong activity: 36 IPOs launched in 2026 so far, including nine in July. Manipal Health Enterprises and Juniper Green Energy are set to open on July 29 and 30, with MV Electrosystems also scheduled. Recent IPOs include Xtranet Technologies (subscribed 12.24x, raised Rs 170 crore fresh) and LEAP India (Rs 2,480 crore, subscribed 0.32x on Day 2, listing August 14). Cube Highways Trust InvIT (Rs 5,000 crore) opened July 22-24. Equirus Capital's Bhavesh Shah expects India to raise around USD 20 billion through IPOs this calendar year.
