Ant International, the Singapore-based overseas affiliate of Ant Group, has raised $1.2 billion in a Series A funding round to fuel its global expansion. Existing backers Ant Group and Alibaba Group participated in the round alongside undisclosed institutional investors. The company plans to use the proceeds to accelerate growth in merchant payments, account management, and other financial services for enterprises globally. Ant International was spun out of Ant Group in 2024 and operates across Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America, connecting over 150 million merchants and 2 billion user accounts. Prior to the round, the company was valued at $10 billion.
