Bitget's strong TradFi perpetual volume signals growing convergence between crypto and traditional finance, potentially boosting investor confidence in multi-asset exchanges. Competitors may accelerate product launches to capture market share in the expanding TradFi derivatives segment.
Bitget, the world's largest Universal Exchange (UEX), generated nearly $70 billion in TradFi perpetual trading volume in Q2 2026, according to the TokenInsight Q2 2026 Crypto Exchange Report. The report highlights TradFi perpetuals as one of the fastest-growing segments across crypto exchanges, with monthly volume rising from $52 billion in January to $268 billion in June. Bitget's growth is attributed to its Universal Exchange strategy, including product launches like IPO Prime and Stocks 2.0. Bitget maintained a top-three position in commodity and equity perpetual markets, and its futures open interest market share increased from 7.81% in Q1 to 8.58% in Q2. The broader exchange industry saw total volume decline to $16.5 trillion, but spot activity rebounded to $4.5 trillion amid Bitcoin volatility.
