The event may cause short-term disruption to the One Victoria project timeline, but Zentra expects completion by late 2026. The company's loan recoverability is not expected to be materially affected, limiting negative market impact.
Zentra Group PLC (AQSE: ZNT) announced that Torsion Construction Limited, the principal contractor for its One Victoria development in Manchester, filed a notice of intention to appoint administrators on 20 July 2026. On 29 July 2026, James Clark and Howard Smith were appointed Joint Administrators of Torsion Construction. Following the appointment, Zentra Great Ducie Street Limited, the developer of One Victoria, terminated the contractor's employment under the building contract with immediate effect. Construction is at an advanced stage, with remaining works estimated at eight weeks. The developer is in advanced discussions with a replacement contractor and expects practical completion in the last quarter of 2026. Zentra does not expect a material adverse effect on its £4.1 million loan receivable.
