Wipro — Wipro Consumer Care and Lighting, through its international arm Wipro Consumer Care International (WCCI), has signed a definitive agreement to acquire 100% of Philippines-based S Brands Consumer Care Inc. The acquisition marks WCCI's 16th global acquisition and its second in the Philippines, following the 2019 acquisition of Splash Corporation. S Brands owns a portfolio of personal care brands including KERATINplus, AlcoPlus, DeoPlus, Empress, and Fiona Cologne. The deal makes the Philippines WCCI's third market outside India to generate annual revenues exceeding ₹1,000 crore, after Malaysia and China. Financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition aligns with Wipro's strategy of expanding in high-growth Southeast Asian markets through established local brands.
