UK-based robotics startup Humanoid announced a $152 million Series A funding round at a $1.35 billion post-money valuation, becoming Europe's first pure-play humanoid robotics unicorn. The round was led by Prime Movers Lab with participation from Schaeffler, Bosch, Fubon Financial Holding Venture Capital, and Financière Agache. The company plans to use the funds to develop its next-generation humanoid robot, scale commercial deployments, and advance its AI platform KinetIQ. Humanoid has secured 34,000 robot pre-orders worth $2.4 billion and completed nine industrial deployments with Fortune 500 companies including SAP, NVIDIA, Bosch, and Siemens. The company also signed a major agreement with Schaeffler for large-scale deployment of thousands of robots in manufacturing, and partnered with Bosch for contract manufacturing.
