Siemens AG announced on July 21, 2026, that it has entered into an agreement to acquire Defacto Technologies, a privately held electronic design automation (EDA) software company based in Grenoble, France. Defacto Technologies specializes in automated system-on-a-chip (SoC) design creation and integration at the register-transfer level (RTL).
