On July 21, 2026, unidentified armed assailants attacked a cattle camp in Agu-Ifite, Awka South Local Government Area, Nigeria — Anambra State, Nigeria, killing four herders (Mohammed Bujumi, Hassan Bujumi, Abubakar Bujumi, and Sani Bujumi) and slaughtering several cattle. Two residential huts were set ablaze. The attackers, armed with AK-47 rifles, pump-action guns, double-barrel guns, and machetes, fled toward Mgbakwu Community. The Joint Task Force responded, and the Nigeria — Nigeria Police Force launched an investigation. Miyetti Allah condemned the attack and called for justice.
