The board changes signal Amaroq's preparation for a major listing on the Aquis Stock Exchange, which could increase its visibility and access to capital. The appointments of experienced executives from mining and energy sectors may enhance investor confidence.
Amaroq Ltd., an independent mine development company focused on Denmark — Greenland's mineral potential, announced several board changes effective upon its admission to the Main Market of the Aquis Stock Exchange, expected no earlier than 31 July 2026. Non-executive Chairman Graham Stewart will transition to Sigurbjorn Thorkelsson, with Stewart remaining as a non-executive director. Three new independent non-executive directors were appointed: Annette Brondholt, Jorunn Johanne Saetre (who will also serve as Senior Independent Director), and Teitur Poulsen. David Neuhauser retired from the board effective 21 July 2026 but will continue as a senior adviser. The changes aim to strengthen the board as Amaroq prepares for its Aquis Stock Exchange listing.
