Fubara joins Rainbow Coalition, backs Tinubu

Nigeria — Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara formally declared allegiance to the Rainbow PUSH Coalition, a cross-party alliance linked to Minister Nyesom Wike, and endorsed President Bola Tinubu's re-election bid and Kingsley Chinda for the 2027 Nigeria — Rivers State governorship. The declaration, made during the groundbreaking of the Rivien Medical Industry project, marks the end of a prolonged political feud between Fubara and Wike that had paralyzed governance in Nigeria — Rivers State. Wike welcomed Fubara's return, stating that politics involves no sin and that the reconciliation strengthens Tinubu's 2027 campaign. The Rainbow PUSH Coalition includes APC loyalists, PDP factions, and other groups. Fubara urged supporters to unite behind the coalition and warned against using his name to promote parallel movements.
