On July 23, 2026, Atos IT Solutions and Services Inc., a subsidiary of Atos Group, achieved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) 2.0 Level 2 for its North America Managed Detection & Response Security Operations Center. The certification was awarded after an independent assessment by a Certified Third-Party Assessor Organization, where Atos scored a perfect 110/110 on NIST SP 800-171 security requirements. This certification, developed by the U.S. Department of Defense, is mandatory for DoD contracts involving Controlled Unclassified Information starting November 2026. Atos positions itself to compete for larger defense programs, reinforcing its role as a trusted partner for mission-critical environments. Michael Grunberg, head of Atos in North America, highlighted the certification as a reflection of operational discipline and security culture.
