Vultr, the world's largest privately held cloud infrastructure company, announced at AMD Advancing AI that it is among the first cloud providers to offer the new AMD Instinct MI455X GPU and support for AMD Helios rackscale solution. Vultr is now taking pre-orders for reserved capacity available in Q4 2026, with deployments from 2027 through 2028. The MI455X GPU, built on AMD CDNA architecture, features HBM4 memory and supports 72-GPU rackscale architecture, targeting AI training, inference, and HPC workloads. Vultr CEO J. J. Kardwell emphasized the need for scalable infrastructure for agentic and inference-heavy workloads. IDC's David McCarthy noted the importance of massive memory capacity for next-generation AI. AMD's Andrew Dieckmann highlighted the performance and efficiency of the Helios solution. Vultr, founded by David Aninowsky and valued at $3.5 billion in 2024, continues to expand its AI infrastructure offerings.
