The recovery of N108 million provides partial restitution to Greenwich Planet Sun King Nigeria Limited, potentially improving its financial position. The EFCC's action reinforces regulatory oversight in Nigeria, which may boost investor confidence in corporate governance.
The Nigeria — Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) handed over N108 million recovered from an investigation into fraud by two former employees of Greenwich Planet Sun King Nigeria Limited. The suspects, Nkechi Gladys Megai (at large in the United Kingdom) and Godson Eze (former CFO), allegedly forged documents and created fake invoices to divert hundreds of millions of naira. The EFCC's Lagos Zonal Directorate 2 presented bank drafts to the company on July 22, 2026. Legal representatives of the company thanked the EFCC for its investigation and said the funds would mitigate losses.
