KAIST researchers, led by Professor Byung-Ha Oh, have developed a TCR-like antibody that selectively targets the KRAS(G12D) mutation, a common driver in pancreatic, colorectal, and lung cancers. The antibody recognizes neoantigens derived from the intracellular mutant protein, enabling precision immunotherapy. The study, published in Molecular Therapy, involved collaboration with Therazyne and support from the South Korea — Ministry of Science and ICT, India — Anusandhan National Research Foundation, and Osong Biomedical Innovation Foundation. The computational design approach may be applicable to other cancer mutations.
