Makenita Resources expands Sisson West tungsten project

The expansion increases Makenita's exposure to tungsten exploration near a nationally significant mine, potentially boosting investor interest. However, as a junior explorer with no production, the immediate market impact is limited.
Makenita Resources announced it has acquired additional mineral claims at its Sisson West Tungsten Project in Canada — New Brunswick, more than doubling the land package from 9,845 to 22,665 contiguous acres. The expansion directly borders Northcliff Resources's Sisson Tungsten Mine, which was recently named a nation-building project by Prime Minister Mark Carney. The acquisition follows positive results from a 2026 airborne magnetic survey that identified a drill-ready target. Makenita plans to formulate a drill program for the property.
