The facility will combine HCLTech's full-stack AI capabilities with Sarvam's foundation models to develop sector-specific AI applications for government and enterprise customers, supporting India's sovereign AI goals. Additionally, HCLTech plans to open a Global Technology Centre in Bhubaneswar employing 5,000 people by 2028. The MoU was signed in the presence of India — Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Electronics and IT Minister Mukesh Mahaling, HCLTech Chairperson Roshni Nadar, CEO S. R.
