LG Energy Solution Ltd. (AESL) has secured an inter-state transmission project worth approximately ₹8,500 crore in India — Andhra Pradesh to support green hydrogen and green ammonia projects in the Vizag region. The project was awarded through the India — India's Tariff-Based Competitive Bidding (TBCB) process. It will add 1,582 circuit kilometers of transmission lines and 10,500 MVA of transformation capacity, expanding AESL's network to 29,531 ckm and 133,675 MVA. The transmission order book now exceeds ₹80,000 crore. The project is scheduled for completion within 30 months and will cater to an estimated demand of 4,500 MW, also supporting digital infrastructure growth in the Pendurthi-Vizag region.
