The scholarship is a philanthropic initiative with limited direct market impact. It may enhance the reputation of the involved entities and slightly boost AltSchool Africa's enrollment.
Tunde Onakoya, Sam Otigba, and HackSultan launched a ₦250 million scholarship fund for NYSC members and recent graduates to study diploma programs at AltSchool Africa. Each scholarship is worth ₦160,000, covering application fees and tuition. Beneficiaries also receive career mentorship, internship opportunities, job placement support through Jobs59, and free laptops for selected applicants. The program aims to equip young Nigerians with in-demand tech skills to improve employability.
