The Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) on July 25 launched a business leadership development programme for 2026-2030, titled 'CEO Vietnam The New Era', to build a new generation of internationally competitive CEOs in Vietnam. The programme aims to equip business leaders with management skills for digital transformation, green transition, and global value chain integration. It aligns with government priorities under Politburo Resolutions 68 and 57 to expand the private sector and enhance innovation. The launch ceremony was attended by Politburo member and Foreign Minister Lê Hoài Trung. VCCI Chairman Ho Sy Hung emphasized the need for leaders with long-term vision and adaptability. The curriculum, developed with partners including Vietnam National University-Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM), A11 Management Consulting Vietnam, and INSEAD, covers strategic leadership, corporate governance, digital transformation, finance, sustainability, ESG, and international business development. The programme targets leaders from large corporations, SMEs, family businesses, and startups, aiming to build a network of Vietnamese CEOs competitive regionally and globally.
